A man once asked a disciple of confucius, saying

有一次有人问孔子的学生

How was it that whenever the Master came into a country he was always informed of the actual state and policy of its government?

老师每到一个国家总能获悉其政治的实际状态与政策

Did he seek for the information or was it given to him?

信息是他寻求来的？还是别人给的？

The Master

我们的老师

replied the disciple

那位学生回答

Was gracious,simple,earnest,modest and courteous

是和蔼简朴诚挚谦逊而又恭敬有礼的

Therefore he could abtain what information he wanted

因此他总能获得他想知道的信息

Well, it was different from other people's way
