TPO 33 Task 5 Substitute a shift and Band Rehearsal

The man runs into a situation where he’s supposed to cover his friend’s evening shift at the dining hall, but he forgot that he had to attend a band rehearsal. There’re two possible solutions. First, he could ask his friend to cancel her plans to see the play with her friends. Alternatively, he can tell his band leader that he can’t make it to the rehearsal. Considering his situation, I’d probably suggest him to choose the former. Apparently, the woman still has a chance to see the play another day. It’s on for a whole week after all. It’s just that she can’t see it with her friends. I don’t think that’s a big deal. More importantly, he cannot afford to miss the last rehearsal, cuz he’s not familiar with a couple new songs. Without the practice, there’s a risk he might sound bad at the concert. After all, the concert is way more important for the man.
