我的对手只有我自己


I shall encouragemyself now that it's nearing the end of the book,

在书的最后鼓励一下自己

the only opponentthat I have is myself.

I am not trying tobe boastful, my only opponent can only be myself!

不是说什么大话,我的对手也只能是我自己!

If I am able toovercome my many faults,

not losing to thelaziness, distractions and doubtful words,

不输给那些惰性、杂念、不自信的话

I believe that Ican become an excellent artiste.

There may becertain moments when I want to give up,

也会有想要放弃的时刻

the time when Ilost 99 tracks,

the times when Iwas so tired that the practice room floor was covered with my sweat,

累到练习室的地板全是汗水的时候

the times when mywords were misunderstood…

不被理解的时候……

But fortunately,every moment when I am about to give up,

很庆幸的是,在每个快要放弃的时刻

I clenched myteeth and persevered on.
