Soon she and Marlin were surrounded by stinging (刺刺的) jellyfish! “Here’s the game!” said Marlin�desperately (着急地). “Whoever can hop the fastest out of these jellyfish wins. You can’t touch the tentacles (触手). Only the tops.”

没过多久，多莉和马林的周围就布满了刺刺的水母。“游戏开始了！”马林着急地说，“谁最快跳离这些水母，谁就赢了。不准碰触手，只能在水母头顶上跳。”

They had almost made it through when Dory got stung. Marlin pulled her free, but then he was stung, too. As he and Dory�emerged from�(逃出) the school of jellyfish, the world turned dark.

就在他们快要逃出来时，多莉被蛰了。马林把她拖了出来，可马林也被蛰了。马林刚带多莉逃出水母群，就眼前一黑，昏了过去。

Marlin and Dory woke up on the back of a giant sea turtle. “Takin’ on the jellies—awesome!” Crush (柯路西), the turtle, exclaimed.

马林和多莉醒来时，发现自己竟然在一个巨大的海龟的后背上。“大战水母群——太帅了！”海龟柯路西大喊道。

As Marlin and Dory rode the East Australian Current toward Sydney, Marlin told Crush’s friends about his quest to find his son. Soon the tale was being passed throughout the ocean, from sea creature to sea creature.

在马林和多莉乘着东澳暖流前往悉尼的路上，马林跟柯路西的朋友讲了他寻找儿子的故事。很快，故事就在整个海洋里传开了，海洋生物都知道了马林找儿子的故事。

Nigel heard the news about Marlin and Dory from another�pelican�and rushed to the dentist’s office to tell Nemo. “Your dad’s been fighting the entire (整个) ocean looking for you,” he announced.

奈杰尔从另一只鹈鹕那里听说了马林和多莉的故事，就赶紧飞到牙医诊室告诉尼莫。“你爸爸为了找你，穿越了整个海洋，”他告诉尼莫。

“My dad?” Nemo asked. “Really?”

“我爸爸？”尼莫问道。“真的吗？”

Nigel nodded. “Word is he’s headed this way, to Sydney.”

奈杰尔点点头。“听说他正朝悉尼这边来呢。”

Inspired by his father’s bravery�(勇敢), Nemo decided to try Gill’s escape plan. He darted (跳进) into the filter and jammed (塞进) a pebble (鹅卵石) into its blades (桨叶), which broke the filter.

听到爸爸这么勇敢，尼莫受到了莫大的鼓舞，他决定尝试吉哥的逃跑计划。他一跃而起，跳进了过滤器，在过滤器桨叶间塞进一块鹅卵石，随后，过滤器就停止工作了。

The fish had two days until Darla arrived. If the tank got dirty enough and the dentist had to clean it, they just might be able to make their escape!

在达拉过来之前，小鱼们还有两天的时间。等到鱼缸足够脏，牙医就不得不进行清洗，这样他们就可以伺机逃跑了！

The next day, the fish were swimming in slimy (粘腻的) green water. They couldn’t have been happier. Dr. Sherman was going to have to clean the tank before Darla arrived!

第二天，鱼缸里的鱼们就游在又脏又黏的绿水里了。他们从没这么高兴过。这样一来，在达拉到来之前，希尔曼医生就不得不清理鱼缸了。

“Are you ready to see your dad, kid?” asked Gill.

“准备好去见爸爸了吗，孩子？”吉哥开心地问。

Nemo nodded happily.

尼莫开心地点了点头。

Not far away, Marlin and Dory had just been swallowed (吞进) by a whale! As the water level in the whale’s mouth began to lower, Marlin became frantic (惊慌). “I have to get out. I have to find my son!” he cried as he held on to the whale’s tongue.

可是在不远处，马林和多莉被一头鲸鱼吞进了肚子！鲸鱼嘴里的水位越来越低，马林开始惊慌了。“我必须逃出去。我必须找到我儿子！”他一边大喊，一边紧紧抓住鲸鱼的舌头。

Dory spoke to the whale. “He says to let go,” she told Marlin. Taking a deep breath, Marlin put his trust in Dory, and they fell to the back of the whale’s mouth.

多莉跟鲸鱼说了些什么。之后，多莉告诉马林：“他说让你放手。”马林深吸一口气，决定相信多莉的话，之后他们就掉到了鲸鱼嘴的后部。

The whale resurfaced (露出水面) for air— and spouted (喷水) Marlin and Dory right into Sydney Harbor (悉尼港)!

这时，鲸鱼浮到水面上呼吸了——鲸鱼喷出了水柱，刚好把马林和多莉喷进了悉尼港！

Now all they had to do was find the boat that had taken Nemo—but there were boats as far as the eye could see.

现在，他们唯一要做的就是找到带走尼莫的那条船——可是视线所及的范围内，停满了大大小小的船。

Marlin and Dory searched throughout the night without any luck. In the morning, a hungry pelican came along and scooped (舀) them up!

马林和多莉找了一整夜，却一无所获。到了早晨，一只饥饿的鹈鹕飞了过来，用大嘴把他们衔走了！

But Marlin wasn’t about to let himself be eaten. He had come too far. He and Dory wriggled (挣扎，扭动) their way out of the pelican and onto a dock where Nigel happened to be sitting.

但是马林可不打算今天就被吃掉。他已经走了这么远的路。马林和多莉拼命地挣扎，终于从鹈鹕的嘴里逃了出来，掉在了一个甲板上，而刚好奈杰尔就在这个甲板上休息。

“I’ve got to find my son, Nemo!” Marlin gasped (喘气).

“我必须找到我儿子尼莫！”马林大口喘着气。

Nigel couldn’t believe it. “He’s that fish who’s been fighting the whole ocean!” he declared.

奈杰尔简直不敢相信他的耳朵。“他就是那条穿越了整个海洋的鱼啊！”他高喊道。

By that time, a flock of hungry seagulls (海鸥) had gathered. They wanted to eat Marlin and Dory. “Hop into my mouth if you want to live!” Nigel said.

就在这时，一群饥饿的海鸥飞了过来。他们想吃掉马林和多莉。“如果你们想活命，就跳到我嘴里来！”奈杰尔对他们说。

Marlin and Dory jumped into�(跳进) Nigel’s beak, and soon they were off to find Nemo!

马林和多莉急忙跳进了奈杰尔的嘴里，不一会儿，他们就出发去找尼莫了！

That same morning, Nemo and his friends woke up—to a clean tank! The dentist had installed (安装) a brand-new high-tech filter while they were sleeping.

就在这天早上，尼莫和朋友们醒来了——鱼缸变干净了！就在他们睡觉的时候，牙医在鱼缸里安装了一个全新的高科技过滤器。

“The escape plan is ruined (毁坏)!” the fish cried.

“逃跑计划泡汤了！”鱼儿们绝望地喊道。

Just then, the office door opened. It was Dr. Sherman—and Darla!

就在这时，诊室的门开了。是谢尔曼医生——还有达拉！

Nemo quickly came up with a new plan.

尼莫很快就想到了一个新计划。

When Dr. Sherman put him in a plastic bag, he rolled over and played dead. Nemo hoped the dentist would flush him down the toilet so he could travel through the pipes (管道) to the ocean—and freedom!

谢尔曼医生把尼莫装进了塑料袋，尼莫翻起了肚皮——装死。他希望牙医可以把他从马桶冲下去，这样他就能顺着水管游到大海——重获自由了！
