At last, Maui felt ready. Moana used her new wayfinding skills to sail her boat straight to Te Fiti. Clouds of smoke and ash rose over the barrier (障碍) islands, hiding Te Kā.

终于，毛伊准备好了。莫阿娜利用自己最新掌握的寻路技巧，径直开船去往特菲提。障壁岛上空升起了由浓烟和灰烬形成的乌云，恶卡就藏身其中。

Moana gave Maui the heart and smiled. “Go save the world,” she said.

莫阿娜把特菲提之心交给毛伊，微笑着说：“去拯救世界吧。”

Maui turned into a hawk and flew off to restore the heart of Te Fiti. But suddenly, Te Kā—the lava (岩浆) monster— burst through the clouds and knocked (撞击) Maui out of the sky!

毛伊变成一只鹰，飞向特菲提，去归还特菲提之心。但是突然之间，岩浆恶魔——恶卡击穿乌云，把毛伊重重地从空中击落了！

“No!” screamed Moana. Quickly, she sailed in and pulled Maui from the water.

“不要！”莫阿娜尖叫着。她急忙划船上前，把毛伊从水里拉了出来。

Moana steered (驾驶) toward a narrow gap between the barrier islands. She was heading back into battle!

莫阿娜开着船，准备驶向障壁岛之间的一个夹缝，她要再次应战！

“We won’t make it,” said Maui. “Turn around!”

“我们不会成功的，”毛伊说，“快掉头！”

Just then, Te Kā brought down a fist to destroy the boat. Maui blocked it with his hook!

就在这时，恶卡伸出拳头，要摧毁他们的船。毛伊用他的鱼钩挡住了一拳。

The shock wave blasted (冲击) Moana and Maui far out into the ocean. The boat was in shambles (毁坏), and Maui’s fishhook was cracked (断裂).

强烈的冲击掀起了巨大的海浪，莫阿娜和毛伊被冲到了很远的地方。他们的船被毁的七零八落，毛伊的鱼钩也裂开了。

“We can fix it,” Moana told him.

“我们能把它修好，”莫阿娜告诉毛伊。

“It was made by the gods. You can’t fix it!”

“它由众神所造，你怎么修好！”

Maui refused to go back. “Without my hook, I’m nothing!” he said. He was afraid another fight with Te Kā would shatter (粉碎) his hook completely.

毛伊不肯再回去战斗了。“没有鱼钩，我就什么都不是！”他愤怒地说。他担心如果再次与恶卡战斗，鱼钩就彻底粉碎了。

Moana pleaded with him to stay. “The ocean chose me,” she said.

莫阿娜求他留下。“大海选择了我，”她说。

“It chose wrong,” Maui replied angrily. Then he shape-shifted into a hawk and flew away.

“它选错了人，”毛伊生气地回答。然后，他就变成鹰飞走了。

Moana yelled at the ocean. “Why did you bring me here?” she asked, sobbing. “Choose someone else!” Then she dropped the heart of Te Fiti back into the ocean.

莫阿娜对着大海伤心地呐喊。“你为什么带我来到这里？”她哭着问道。“你还是选别人吧！”然后，她就把特菲提之心扔进了大海。

Just then, a glowing manta ray (蝠鲼，音fú fèn，又称魔鬼鱼) swam by. A moment later, the spirit of Gramma Tala appeared on the boat! “I never should have put so much on your shoulders,” she said, wiping away (擦掉) Moana’s tears. “If you want to go home, I will be with you.”

就在这时，一个闪闪发光的蝠鲼游了过来。过了片刻，塔拉奶奶的灵魂出现在了船上！“我不该让你承担这么多，”她一边说，一边擦干了莫阿娜的眼泪。“如果你想回家，我会陪着你。”

But Moana could not make herself turn the boat around. “Listen to the voice inside,” Gramma said. “Do you know who you are?”

但是，莫阿娜做不到掉转船头，中途放弃。“倾听自己的内心，”奶奶说。“你知道自己是谁吗？”

Moana began slowly. “I am the daughter of the village chief (酋长),” she said. “We are descended from (由…留传下来的) voyagers.” Moana’s voice grew stronger as the spirits of her voyaging ancestors (祖先) appeared near the boat. “I have fought with monsters. I am all these things and more. I am Moana!”

莫阿娜开始慢慢地低语。“我是酋长的女儿，”她说，“我们是航海者的后裔。”随着航海祖先们的灵魂出现在船旁边，莫阿娜的声音也越来越坚定。“我战胜了猛兽。我是这一切，且不止于此。我是莫阿娜！”

Moana dove into (跳入) the ocean, swimming deeper and deeper in search of (搜寻) the heart. At last she saw it, glowing at the bottom of the sea. Moana kept going until finally she had the heart! When she came back up, Gramma Tala was gone.

莫阿娜跳入大海，潜入水中寻找特菲提之心。她游得越来越深，终于，看到了在海底闪闪发光的特菲提之心。莫阿娜继续向下游，终于拿到了特菲提之心！可当她回来后，发现塔拉奶奶已经消失了。
