The Little Mermaid

In the deep sea, there lived Princess Ariel. She was a little mermaid. She had a beautiful voice. Everyone in the sea liked her. But Ariel always wanted to see the human world.

King Triton was Ariel’s father. He promised Ariel that when she turned fifteen, she was allowed to go and see the life above the sea.

Finally, the day came. Ariel swam up to the surface of the sea. There she saw a handsome prince named Eric standing on a ship. She fell in love with the prince at first sight.

Ariel wanted to be a human and live with the prince. So, she went to Ursula, who was a sea witch. Ursula promised to give Ariel legs in exchange for her voice. But if Ariel couldn’t get the prince to kiss her in three days. Ariel would lose her voice and legs forever.

With the help of Ursula, Ariel became a human. She went to find Prince Eric on the ship. When they met, Prince Eric immediately fell in love with her.

In the deep sea, the witch knew everything. She was so evil that she used magic on Eric. She disguised herself as a woman named Vanessa. Enchanted, Eric fell in love with Vanessa!

Ariel’s sisters came to help Ariel. They defeated Ursula, and helped Ariel get her voice back. But the magic was gone, Ariel could not keep her human body. She turned into a mermaid again.

Now since the magic was gone, Eric knew that he loved Ariel, not Vanessa. He looked for Ariel, but could not find her anymore.

Ariel swam up to the surface again. She watched Eric from a distance. Eric looked very sad. She felt sad, too. They loved each other, but they couldn’t be together.

Soon, King Triton learned about what happened. He wanted her daughter Ariel to be happy. So, he used magic to turn her into human again.

Ariel was so happy, and she went back to land to find Eric. Now Eric and Ariel could be together forever!
