【餐厅篇】在国外点餐只会this this？最全就餐用语！

Example conversation 1:

A)Hello! 你好！

B)Hello there, can I get a table for four please? 你好，请问还有四人桌吗？

A)Yes of course right this way. 有的，这边请。

B)Thank you. 谢谢。

There’s a waiting time of 30 minutes. 不好意思，要等30分钟哦。

呼喊服务员：

“Excuse me waiter” or “Excuse me waitress” 你好服务员

“Miss” 美女／女士

“Excuse me” 不好意思。

“Excuse me waiter, can I have another glass of wine please?” 你好服务员，麻烦再加一杯酒。

J: (Explain appetizers) (give examples)

Example order:

A)Hi are you ready to order now?

B)Yes, I’ll have some mushroom soup to start, the lobster for my main and I think some cheesecake for dessert

A)Certainly! Would you like any sides?

B)Oh yes, can I have a bowl of the onion rings please? And also a plate of the shrimp appetizers for the table.

A)Shrimp appetizers, got it, I’ll have those sent to you right away. And what would you like miss?

B)Thank you

C)I’ll have the garlic bread to start, the roast lamb for mains and no dessert for me thank you.

J: So there are a few things we can pick up on from this dialogue, firstly when ordering your starter, you can simply say “to start” - for example “I’ll have the soup to start”

C: Yes, and “for mains” can also be said instead of “For my main course” - example: I’d like a steak for mains”

J: Lastly, you can say “Sides” instead of side dish, example: I’d like a side of fries or fries on the side, all okay.

C: Saying these will help to make you sound much much more natural.

J: So after you’ve ordered your food, your going to be sat waiting for it to arrive,

C: The worst bit!

J: hahah very ture! So when the food arrives, the waiter or waitress will ask you “Is that everything?” this is your chance to tell them that it’s not the food you ordered or you would like an extra dish!

C: 类似我们这边的服务生说“菜品全部上齐了噢，请您慢用”。这个时候如果如果对菜品有什么疑问，像没上齐啊，上错了啊，都要及时说。

C: So we should finally discuss the bill!

J: Ah now I think that’s the worst bit!

C：Yeah right, I changed my mind too!

* Would you like the bill now

* Here’s your bill, I hope the meal was satisfactory

* I hope you enjoyed your meal…here’s your bill…

A)Certainly! Would you like any sides? 行！请问需要配菜吗？

B)Oh yes, can I have a bowl of the onion rings please? And also a plate of the shrimp appetizers for the table. 噢要的，我要一碗洋葱圈。再来一个虾子做开胃菜吧。

A)Shrimp appetizers, got it, I’ll have those sent to you right away. And what would you like miss? 开胃菜...虾子。马上来。您需要什么呢女士？

B)Thank you. 谢谢。
