The Marvel superhero film "Black Panther" screened in Saudi Arabia as a 35-year ban on movie theaters was lifted in the Middle Eastern country. 

沙特阿拉伯解除实施35年的影院禁令后，日前，漫威公司的超级英雄电影《黑豹》在沙特上映。

Saudi Arabia had some cinemas in the 1970s but later imposed a ban. 

上世纪70年代，沙特曾开设过一些影院，但之后都遭封禁。

In 2017, authorities announced a plan to grant licenses to open cinemas the following year as part of reforms to achieve the country's 2030 economic vision. 

2017年，沙特政府宣布了一项计划，欲在来年发放影院开设许可，作为实现国家2030年经济愿景改革举措的一部分。

The Saudi Ministry of Information confirmed that 350 movie theaters with 2,500 screens are expected to open across several cities by 2030.

沙特新闻部证实，到2030年，沙特全国多个城市将拥有350家影院，2500块银幕。

Queen's last corgi dies

女王最后一只柯基离世

The Queen has been left heartbroken after the death of her last corgi, Willow. The dog had a cancer-related illness and the Queen did not want her beloved pet to suffer further. 

英国女王在她最后一只柯基犬"威洛"死后伤心至极。这只柯基犬患上了癌症相关的疾病，女王不忍看到心爱的宠物继续受罪。

Willow, who was almost 15, was put to sleep at Windsor Castle. 

近15岁的威洛近日在温莎堡被实施了安乐死。

"She has mourned every one of her corgis over the years, but she has been more upset about Willow's death than any of them," says a Buckingham Palace source.

白金汉宫的消息人士透露，过去这些年女王为每一只她死去的柯基犬哀悼，但威洛的死是最让她感到难过的。

"It is probably because Willow was the last link to her parents and a pastime that goes back to her own childhood. It really does feel like the end of an era." Willow was the 14th generation descended from Susan, a gift to the then-Princess Elizabeth on her 18th birthday.

But her heritage dates back even further, to 1933, when the Queen's father George VI (then Duke of York) introduced a corgi into the royal family. It is understood the dog has been buried on the castle grounds. In time there will be a headstone bearing the pet's name and the words "a faithful companion of the Queen".

Scientists have discovered why the Mona Lisa's expression looks so different to different people and at different times.

Through experiments on visual perception and neurology, they discovered that our emotions really do alter how we see a neutral face.

Dr Erika Siegel and her team suggested that how we perceive a new face - as happy, sad, friendly, neutral - actually has a lot more to do with the feelings we are carrying around when we greet it than the expression on that face. 

西格尔博士及其团队认为，人们如何理解一张新面孔——究竟是愉快、悲伤、友好，还是中性，实际上更多地取决于我们遇见一张面孔时自身的情绪，而非那张面孔上的表情。

This means that "if you see the Mona Lisa after you have just had a screaming fight with your husband, you're going to see [the painting] differently," says Dr Siegel. "But if you're having the time of your life at the Louvre, you're going to see the enigmatic smile," she adds.

Autism links to mutations

Three separate studies, all published in the journal Nature, have identified several gene mutations, many inherited from fathers, that may play a role in autism.

There's no one gene that causes autism, but several genetic mutations increase the risk of getting autism, James Sutcliffe, co-author of one study said. 

其中一项研究的合著者詹姆斯•萨克利夫称，原本没有任何基因会引发自闭症，然而多个基因突变增加了患自闭症的风险。

The genes are likely inherited through the paternal line because as a man ages, his sperm cells are constantly dividing, providing more opportunity for mutations. 

引发自闭症的基因很可能传承自父系，随着男性变老，其精子将持续分化从而增加了基因突变的几率。

While women, are born with all of the egg cells they will have for life.Each study found multitudes of mutated genes in autistic children.

而女性一生所有的卵子生之即来。每项研究都发现患自闭症的儿童带有大量的突变基因。

Diagnosing autism by the gene mutations is still a long way off, and future research will focus on identifying other mutations that could play a role, researchers said.

研究人员表示，通过基因突变来诊断自闭症尚需假以时日，未来的研究将以识别其他可能导致自闭症的突变为主。
