Sometimes, the best way to truly understand something is to dive in and do it ourselves. Reading about it, watching others, or even planning doesn’t compare to hands-on experience. When we step up and try, we learn lessons that stick with us and make us better.

For example, we can read about riding a bike all day long, but until we hop on and start pedaling, we won’t really know what it feels like to balance, steer, or even fall! Or think about learning to cook. Watching cooking shows is fun, but the real learning happens when we’re in the kitchen, trying out recipes ourselves.
