One autumn day, Jerry's father asked him to rake the leaves in the yard. Jerry picked up a rake and moved the leaves into one pile. Then, he saw his good friend, Tom, walking to him. Tom said, "l know what we can do with these leaves." He started to help Jerry. Jerry's father saw them with a smile and said, " You two are doing a great job! Look, how quickly you are raking all the leaves!"
Soon the boys had a very big pile of leaves. "Here we go!" said Mike, and he jumped into the big pile of leaves before Jery could stop him. "Oh, well," said Jerry, "we have to rake again!”
