When it comes to becoming a parent, more men want children than women, according to a new U.S. study.

The data shows 57 percent of men hoped to become a parent someday, while 45 percent of women said the same.

There's that enormous burden on women who have to go through childbirth. It's not just a physical toll. They see much slower progression and wage growth in their careers too.
