    I don’t really get it why didn’t Calaena just spill the secret and put an end to Cane

    birdfen 回复 @fy_demi: I guess because it would put Elena’s secret out, and she didn’t have enough proof, It would just be her word against Kane’s, and of course that would turn to a argument between Dorian and the duke, which is a battle between politics, and the king would definitely favor Kane.
