A saying,“Maybe youth should be wasted”,

goes popular these days among teenagers.

 So what do you think about your youth?

The saying you mentioned

reminds me of the quotation

from Francis Bacon,

who said“Young men are fitter to invent,

than to judge; fitter for execution,

than for counsel; and fitter for new projects,

than for settled business”in his famous essay,

“Of Youth and Age”.

Each of us was born with one-time life,

which can not be reversed along its timeline,

while the irreversibility of time

 leaves our youth with

more regrets and memories.

 It is youth that can recall

what we looked like

when we were still young.

 It is youth that can bring us chances

to know someone

whom we will never forget in our mind.

On the brink of my graduation

from my beloved college,

certainly I should have soul-searching

 for my understanding of

 my youth and my life.

 As for me, I have the tendency

to memorize it or even regard it

as one of the most important parts

 in my lifetime, for we can never

flash back to the time

when we first came to

our school and dorm.

 Up to now, I still

remember the roommates

 chatting before sleeping.

 It could be amazing for us

to talk like that.

What's more,

what I must mention now

is the challenging time of my preparation

 for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination.

 I kept my lamp on after the dorm lights

were blacked out each night.

 With my roommates,

we made every effort to read books

day after day.

The main reason why some peers

waste their youth is

 that they still blindly

think that time is still resourceful

for them to go through;

 however, it will be hard for them

once they find their youth

 is far away from them

 one day in the future.

All in all, no matter how old we are,

we must bear“Stay Hungry,

Stay Foolish!”in our mind.

 Youth can also be a state of mind,

so we need to stay energetic.
