 Recently, a series of buzzwords,

including Dama, Tuhao, Hukou,

appeared in many overseas

renowned media,

which expected to spread

 more Chinese culture globally.

 On mentioning“Chinese dama”,

a sort of physical exercise,

named“square dance”

may come into your mind.

 What do you think about this?

 As far as I know,

Chinese dama came to

the public spotlight

because of their rushing

 to purchase gold

 as its international price plunged in 2013.

 Even BBC reported this issue

by coining the word“dama”

based on its pronunciation in Chinese,

while the word's meaning was extended

 to some elder women

who have the eagerness

 to invest their money in the market

 but lack professional skills.

As for the“square dance”,

it flourished in lots of cities

with a phalanx of retired women

on every corner of squares

 in the evening.

 From my point of view,

the square dance can be a reasonable

socialization for retired women

 who leave their

working places and colleagues.

 By dancing in the same gestures

or movements with other peers,

they find the sense of belonging

 one more time.

 Meanwhile, it is beneficial

for their physical and mental health

to dance with others.

However, playing loud music

 on squares adjacent to residential

complexes also invites

 the residents' complaints,

even disputes.

 I heard of an event that

 an insane young man

set his dog free and fired

 his hunting gun

to give his warnings.

 His complaints could be reasonable,

but his deeds can be too violent,

which will not solve the problem

but arouse more disputes

between the two sides.

Well, I also got information

from the Internet that

a group of Chinese college students

 are undertaking their invention,

an advanced stereo which can spread

directional sound waves

within certain radius of sound.

 With this invention,

I suppose the problem

can be solved perfectly.

 At the same time,

those office workers who complain

about the noise should also

have full understanding of the aged people.

 Mutual respect should be established

to eliminate disputes and

to enhance mutual understanding.
