[00:00:13.90]Mowgli lived happily among the wolf pack.

[00:01:33.70]"Mowgli might lead the pack one day," a young wolf said. 
[00:01:38.60]"The man cub is very smart."
[00:01:41.40]"He can even remove thorns from our paws," another wolf said.
[00:01:46.90]"That man cub again!" Shere Khan growled. 
[00:01:51.60]"He is no better than any of you!"
[00:01:54.70]Some of the wolves growled too. 
[00:01:58.50]"You're right, Shere Khan. 
[00:02:00.40]Mowgli is not even a wolf!"
[00:02:03.10]Bagheera watched what was happening within the wolf pack. 
[00:02:07.00]And he didn't like it.
[00:02:10.40]"Mowgli, how many times have I told you that Shere Khan is your enemy?" 
[00:02:16.00]he asked one afternoon. 
[00:02:17.60]The two friends were lying on some leaves in the warm sun.
[00:02:22.30]Mowgli laughed. 
[00:02:25.90]"As many times as there are nuts on that tree!" 
[00:02:29.40]He shook his head. 
[00:02:31.10]Bagheera was always giving him warnings and advice.
[00:02:35.30]"Well, listen carefully," Bagheera said.

[00:02:41.30]Soon he will be too weak to lead the pack. 
[00:02:44.20]That's when the younger wolves will take action.

[00:03:18.80]Mowgli yawned. 
[00:03:23.10]"Sometimes I go to the hill to look down at the people's village. 
[00:03:27.70]But I never talk to the villagers. I don't hunt with them.

[00:04:58.80]"Get it quickly and keep it nearby.
