Lisa: The Decision-making Conference last week was a success. All the directors were satisfied with our work and effort. Thanks for what you did for the meeting. Linda, would you like to share your experience with us, so we can do better next time?
Linda: I was in charge of reserving and decorating the venue, and notifying participants of the meeting. Decorating the venue was quite difficult for us, so we found an event management company to help.
Lisa: Your idea proved sensible. Mike, was it easy for your group to organize the meeting?
Mike: Not totally, especially controlling the meeting process. For example, to ensure the meeting began and ended on time, I signaled each speaker before the time was up.
Lisa: Well done. You really know how to manage the course of a meeting. Nicole, what will your group do after the meeting?
Nicole: After the meeting, we will keep in touch with the people responsible, to make sure they smoothly carry out assigned tasks. What’s more, we are writing the minutes and a summary of the meeting.
