It is summer. There is no school. Five little monkeys tell their mama, “We’re bored. There is nothing to do!” “Oh yes there is ,”says Mama. “Grandma Bessie is coming for lunch, and the house must be neat and clean.

这是一个夏天。还没有开始上学。五只小猴子告诉他们的妈妈：“我们很无聊，什么事情也没有！”

“哦，不，有的是事情做。”妈妈说。

“贝西奶奶要来吃午饭，我们得把房子打扫得又干净又整洁。”

 “So….you can pick up your room.”

“所以，你们可以整理一下自己的房间。”

Five little monkeys pick up and pick up and pick up...

…until everything is put away.

五只小猴子收呀收呀收，

直到所有东西都收拾起来了。

 “Good job!” says Mama.

“But we’re bored again, ”say five little monkeys.

“There is nothing to do!”

“Oh yes there is ,”says Mama.

“You can scrub the bathroom. The house must be neat and clean for Grandma Bessie.”

“干得好！”妈妈说。“但是我们又很无聊了，”五只小猴子说。“什么能做的事情都没有！”“哦不，还有事情可以做，”妈妈说，“你们可以刷洗一下浴室。贝西奶奶要来，整个房子都要又干净又整齐。”

So five little monkeys scrub and scrub and scrub until the bathroom shines.

于是，五只小猴子刷呀刷呀刷呀，直到浴室闪闪发光。

 “Good job!” says Mama.

“But we’re bored again,” say five little monkeys. “There is nothing to do !”

“Oh yes there is ,”says Mama.

“You can beat the dirt out f these rugs. The house must be neat and clean for Grandma Bessie.”

“干得好！”妈妈说。

“但是我们又很无聊了，”五只小猴子说， “什么能做的事情都没有！”

“哦不，有的是事情可以做，”妈妈说，“你们可以把地毯里的灰尘都拍出来。整个房子都要又干净又整齐地迎接贝西奶奶。”

Five little monkeys beat and beat and beat the rugs until there s not a speck of dirt left.

五只小猴子拍呀拍呀拍呀，直到地毯里的灰尘全部被拍掉了。
