 It tasted funny. 这个食物尝起来味道很奇怪，不好吃。

 The fish tasted as if they were caught a year ago.  这个鱼尝起来像一年之前抓的。

形容食物索然无味：

It tasted like cardboard. 味道尝起来像硬纸板。

It probably doesn't have much taste in it. 没入味。

It was devoid of taste. 食物索然无味。

It needed more zest. 需要更多的味道
