Unit 13 A success story

Now I’ve come to believe that every trade has its potential. You don’t have to work, for instance, in the electronics industry to become a success. Jane, a good friend of mine, is a case in point. Unlike most of her classmates, she did not go to college because her father was deep in debt. However, she knew that she was destined for fashion business because she had a talent for designing clothes. When she was just a little girl, she could make dolls out of rags. She could even design a variety of beautiful clothes for her dolls. After she graduated, she set up a shop on her own. It was evident that she was so sure of her own future. She kept working hard in her field, and now she is a famous fashion designer. Because the clothes she designs are very popular among all age groups, she has gone from rags to riches. As the saying goes, “Nothing succeeds like success.” She is now at the peak of her career.
