A researcher from the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, detected a small amount of the radioactive substance at the center of the Arctic Ocean, which is believed to be from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant. It’s been almost 8 years since Cesium-134 and Cesium-137, both radioactive substances, flowed into the ocean due to the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011.
