32.Why don't people turn to refuting rumors?
I saw someone sharing their experience on the Internet that day. I asked: why is it so easy to spread rumors and so difficult to refute them in the matter of health science popularization?
For example, you find that an elder in your family has forwarded an unreliable health message to relatives. Eating pig blood can cure haze and so on.

你一看，这是胡扯啊，但是为了维护他的面子，长辈嘛，你私下发了一条辟谣文章给他，但是你放心，通常他并不会再转到亲戚群里。
这是为啥？是为了维护自己的面子吗？还真不是。你想，发一条谣言，虽然不靠谱，但是他清晰地在向亲戚们传达一个信号“我关心你们啊”，内容是什么，哪有那么重要。
可是转发一条辟谣信息呢，相当于是在对亲戚们说“你们都是傻瓜啊，别上这种当啊”。咱们中国人都讲面子，他为啥要做这样的事呢？
从这个角度来说，通过人际关系网络来搞科普辟谣真是很难，但是这和知识和智力无关，这只和人情人性有关。
