Today is Tongue Twister Tuesday. It is your chance to practice your annunciation and pronunciation of English words. Tongue twisters train our brain for expressing English precisely so that we can be easily understood. Practice today’s tongue twister many times and you’ll improve your oral English a lot.

Tongue Twister

Ed Nott was shot and Sam Shott was not.

So it is better to be Shott than Nott.

Some say Nott was not shot.

But Shott says he shot Nott.

Either the shot Shott shot at Nott was not shot, or Nott was shot.

If the shot Shott shot shot Nott, Nott was shot.

But if the shot Shott shot shot Shott, the shot was Shott,

not Nott. However, the shot Shott shot shot not Shott but Nott.

So, Ed Nott was shot and that's hot! Is it not?

Today’s practice let’s us learn and repeat one sound that the letter ‘O’ makes. The ‘ah’ sound. We practice it with the ’T’ sound following. This is a common sound in English and one that isn’t so easy. A great practice even though it might be a little difficult.
