The purpose of my life 生活的目标

At day's first light you have in readiness, against disinclination to leave your bed, the thought that "I am rising for the work of man." Must I grumble at setting out to do what I was born for, and for the sake of which I have been brought into the world?

当清晨第一缕阳光将要照射进来的时候，打消掉一切不愿起床的念头，要想到：“我起来是要为人类工作的。”对于我们注定要完成的天赋使命，我们非得去抱怨一番吗？殊不知我们正是为这个天赋使命而来到世间。

Is this the purpose of my creation, to lie here under the blankets and keep myself warm?

上帝创造了我，难道就是让我躺在毯子下面温暖自己的身体吗？

"ah, but it is a great deal more pleasant!" was it for pleasure, then, that you were born, and not for work, not for effort?

“噢，但是那样做很舒适的啊！”难道我们生来便是为了舒适，而不是为了辛勤努力，为了工作劳动吗？
