Good morning.

Today is Tongue Twister Tuesday. Tongue Twisters help with English pronunciation. Practice this tongue twister slowly at first. Make sure you are pronouncing the words correctly. Then, try it faster and faster. You’ll do a lot to improve your pronunciation.

Tongue Twister

“Do scientists see thieves seize skies?

If scientists see thieves seize skies,

then where are the skies,

the scientists see the thieves seize?”

Note: Thieves are those few dishonest people who steal things. They take things from others without the others knowing or without their permission. So, ‘seize’ means to ‘steal.’ Of course a thief can’t steal the sky. But, that’s not the point. The point here is practice your pronunciation. 

Try it several times. Have fun with it!
