Little Pins wanted a hug.小刺猬想要一个拥抱。“A hug will feel good,”she said.“一个拥抱会感觉很好吧”她说。“Will you hug me, Mouse?”“你能抱我吗，老鼠？”“I wish I could,” said Mouse.“我真希望我可以” 老鼠说。“But it will hurt to hug you.”“可是抱你的话会疼。”
“I want a hug,” Pins said.“我要一个拥抱” 小Pins说。“Will you hug me, Hoot?”“你能抱我吗， 猫头鹰？”“I wish I could,” said Hoot.“我真希望我可以” 猫头鹰说。“But it will hurt to hug you.”“可是抱你的话会疼。”
“I wish I could get a hug!”said Pins.“我真希望我可以来个拥抱” 小刺猬说。“Will you hug me, Skunk?”“你能抱我吗，臭鼬?”“I can’t!” said Skunk.“我不能！”臭鼬说。“Do you want to shake hands?”“你想握手吗？”
“Come here, Pins,” said Hoot.“过来吧，刺猬” 猫头鹰说。“You can play my drum.”“你可以玩我的鼓。”“That will make you happy,”said Mouse.“会让你开心”老鼠说。Little Pins played the drum.小刺猬玩起了鼓。
“That was fun,” she said.“这很有趣” 她说。But she still wanted a hug.可是她还是想要一个拥抱。“Moosling! Moosling!” Pins said.“麋鹿!！麋鹿！” 小刺猬说。“Will you give me a hug?”“你能给我一个拥抱吗？”
“Yes, I will!” said Moosling.“好啊， 我能”麋鹿说。Moosling went to Rabbit.麋鹿去找了兔子。He got Rabbit to take off his jacket. 他叫兔子拿掉他的外套。
“Come here, Pins,”said Moosling.“过来小刺猬” 麋鹿说。“Put on this jacket.”“穿起这件外套。”Then Moosling gave little Pins a big, big hug.然后麋鹿就给小刺猬一个大大的拥抱！
And so did all her friends!之后全部的朋友们也都一起来了
