T: Good morning! I am looking for a flat to rent. Could you help me?
S: Yeah, sure. Where do you want the flat to be?
T: I’d like a flat in Pudong New Area. My office is near Century Avenue(世纪大道). A flat close to it would be great.
S: OK. There is one flat for rent nearby. It has one bedroom, one kitchen and one bathroom.
T: That’s perfect. How much is the rent?
S: It is 3,000 yuan per(每) month. The security deposit(押金) is 3,000 yuan.
T: Are pets allowed?
S: Small pets are allowed, but there will be an extra security deposit of 500 yuan.
T: OK. The rent is a little bit high. Can I get a discount(折扣)?
S: I’m not sure. I will ask the landlord(房东).
