The shepherd boy and the wolf
Once there was a boy who lived on a farm.Every day he had to take his father’s sheep to a hill. One day he tried to play a trick on the other people.He said to himself.I will call “wolf.wolf.” then everyone come to help me.It will be fun when they find out there is no wolf at all.
So he cried:“wolf .wolf.” and everyone ran to help him.When they came he just said:“there is no wolf.It was only a joke.” He did this three times.
Then one day a wolf really came.“Help!Help!The wolf is here.” called the boy.
But everyone said:“No,everybody knows that there is no wolf.He is just calling us for fun.There is no danger.”
So they did not go to help the boy.The wolf killed all the sheep then.

牧童和狼
从前有个男孩住在农场。每天他都不得不赶着他父亲的羊去山上放羊。有一天他想捉弄一下他人。他自言自语，我会大喊狼来啦，狼来啦，然后大家都来帮助我。当他们发现根本没有狼的时候会很有趣。
于是他大叫：“狼来啦，狼来啦。”大家都跑过去帮忙他。当他们赶来时，他只说了句：“没有狼。这只是个玩笑。”他这样做了三次。
有一天，一只狼真的来了。“救命啊！救命啊！“狼来了。”男孩叫道。
但是每个人都说：“不，大家知道没有狼。他只是呼叫我们找乐。不会有危险的。”
所以他们没有去帮助男孩。于是狼把羊都杀死了。

词汇学习：

1.once 从前，经常用于故事的开头，类似的表达法还有：Once upon a time;a long time ago;Long long ago等。
2.have to 不得不，had to是其过去式，这是一个情态动词，要和后面的动词原形一起构成谓语。
3.play a trick on 捉弄某人，对某人恶作剧 trick [trɪk] 诡计；骗局；恶作剧
You can't play a trick on the boss. 你不能开老板的玩笑。
If they don't give us a treat, we can play a trick on them. 如果他们不招待我们，我们就能捉弄他们。
这句话体现的是万圣节的传统。万圣节是西方传统节日，时间为每年的10月31日夜晚。万圣节前夜夜幕降临时，孩子们身穿五颜六色的服装，戴上各种妖怪面具，提着南瓜制作的杰科灯来到邻居门前，威吓般地喊着：“TRICK-OR-TREAT”。意思是“耍恶作剧还是给予款待。”如果得不到款待，调皮的孩子们就会把人家门上的把手涂上肥皂，或者把别人家的猫涂上颜色。这些小恶作剧常令大人们啼笑皆非。大多数人家会早早备好糖果，以款待这些天真烂漫的小客人。

7.for fun 为了好玩
I decided to learn Japanese, just for fun. 我决定学日语，只是为了好玩。
People do this only for fun. 人们这样做只是为了好玩。
8.danger危险；威胁 经常用于in danger短语中，意思是，在危险中，有…的危险
One of them was in danger. 他们当中有一人情况危险。
His life could be in danger. 他的生命可能会有危险。
