A: Hi, Bob, what's up?
B: I don't see anything up in the sky. Do you?
A: No, Bob. “What's up” is slang for “what’s happening”.
B: Well, why didn’t you just ask me that in the first place?
A: Get with it, Bob. Everyone uses slang in America. It makes speech more colorful.
B: I'm having enough trouble learning English.
A: But you should give it your best shot, Bob.
B: Why?
A: How else can you get to meet American chicks?
B: What chicks? I don’t like eggs.
A: “Chicks” means “girls”, you fool.
B: Oh, I give up.
