I know his name was Guy Fawkes...

1605年企图炸毁国会大厦
...and I know in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

但他到底是谁？
But who was he really?

又是什么样的人？
What was he like?

我们被教导理念比个人重要
We are told to remember the idea and not the man.

一个人可能失败
Because a man can fail.

被捕、被杀或被遗忘
He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten.

但四百年后
But 400 years later...

理念仍能改变世界
...an idea can still change the world.

我亲眼目睹理念的力量
I have witnessed firsthand the power of ideas.

有人为了坚持理念被杀害
I've seen people kill in the name of them...

或是为了捍卫理念牺牲
...and die defending them.

但是你不能亲吻一个理念
But you cannot kiss an idea...

也不能抚摸或拥抱它
you cannot touch it or hold it.

理念不会流血，没有痛苦
Ideas do not bleed. They do not feel pain.

也没有感情
They do not love.

我怀念的不是一个理念
And it is not an idea that I miss.

而是一个人
It is a man.

他让我牢记11月5日
A man that made me remember the 5th of November.

我一辈子也忘不了他
A man that I will never forget.
