Be great at one thing

You know when we were,when I was younger my parents didn't speak any English, and like manyimmigrants, since I was a little kid, I was 8 years old when we came to NorthAmerica.

在我还小的时候，我的父母不讲英语，就像很多移民一样。我们来北美的时候，我还是个孩子，当时才八岁。

And so I had to read thecontracts, you know, my dad, when my dad bought a house, I had to read themortgage and go through the paperwork.

我爸爸买房子的时候，我必须读合同，包括贷款合同，还有其它文件。

And when I was around 18or 17, I looked at, being, at that point, we were, you know lower middle class,and I said, how do I get from where I am to where I need to be?

在我十七八岁的时候，那时我们勉强算得上是中产阶级，我思考，现有条件如此，我怎样才能实现梦想？
