Any property may be the subject-matter of a trust and although the nature of the property may affect the formalities for setting up or running the trust, the essential elements remain constants whatever the type of property involved. Property both real and personal can be the subject-matter of a trust. The property may be tangible or intangible,Shares in companies (choses in action)can as readily be trust property as land or money.
