The Three Bears - 三只小熊

很久很久以前，森林里住着熊爸爸、熊妈妈和熊宝宝。

早饭的粥太烫了，一家人决定先出去散会儿步，等粥凉了再回来喝。但是当他们回来的时候，发现自己的粥被人喝过了、椅子被人坐过、床上也有被动过的痕迹…这一切到底都是谁干的呢？现在就和大熊一起去找答案吧！

故事插图简单得让人想起孩子的绘画风格，细心的小朋友还会发现，可以通过识别同一种颜色来区分属于每一只熊的物品（熊爸爸的裤子、床、碗和椅子都是蓝色的）。



Once upon a time, there were three bears.
从前，森林里住着三只熊。

There was a Papa Bear, and a Mama Bear, and a Baby Bear.
他们分别是熊爸爸，熊妈妈和熊宝宝。

One day Mama Bear made some hot porridge.
一天，熊妈妈做了一些热腾腾的粥。

She made a big bowl for Papa Bear, a medium-size bowl for Mama Bear, and a small bowl for Baby Bear.
她做了一个大碗的给爸爸，一个中碗的是给自己的，还有一个小碗的是为熊宝宝准备的。



The porridge was very hot. So the three bears went for a walk until it got cool.
粥实在太烫了。于是，他们决定出门去散步，等到粥凉了再回来喝。

Just then, along came a little girl named Goldilocks.
他们刚走不久，一个叫做 Goldilocks 的小姑娘来到这里。

Goldilocks looked inside the house. There she saw the three bowls of porridge.
Goldilocks 从窗外向里瞧，结果，她看到了那三碗粥。

Goldilocks was hungry, so she tasted PapaBear's porridge. But it was too hot.
她有点饿了，于是她尝了尝熊爸爸的那碗粥，太烫了。

Then she tried Mama Bear's porridge. But it was too cold.
接着她又尝了尝熊妈妈的那碗粥，但是又太凉了。

Then she tried Baby Bear's porridge. It was just right.
她又尝了尝熊宝宝的粥，不冷不热，刚刚好。

So she ate and ate until she ate it all.
于是，她一口接着一口，把熊宝宝的粥全吃掉了。

Then Goldilocks wanted to sit down.
她想坐下来休息一会儿。

First, she sat in Papa Bear's rocker. But it rocked too fast.
她先是坐在了熊爸爸的摇椅上，可摇起来太快了。

Then she sat in Mama Bear's rocker. It rocked too slow.
而熊妈妈的摇椅摇起来又太慢了。

Then she sat in Baby Bear's rocker. It rocked just right.
最后，她发现熊宝宝的摇椅不快不慢，刚刚好。

So Goldilocks rocked and rocked. She rocked so much, the little rocker broke.
她摇啊摇啊，摇啊摇，可她摇得实在是太用力了，把小摇椅都给摇坏了。

Then Goldilocks wanted to lie down.
接着她想躺下休息一会儿。

First, she tried Papa Bear's bed. It was too hard.
她先躺在了熊爸爸的床上，可床太硬了。

Then she tried Mama Bear's bed. It was too soft.
她又试了试熊妈妈的床。又太软了。

Then she tried Baby Bear's bed. It was just right
最后又试了试熊宝宝的床，不软不硬刚刚好。

So Goldilocks fell asleep in Baby Bear's bed.
所以她躺在那儿，不一会儿就进入了梦乡。

A little while later, the three bears came home.
没过多久，三只熊回家了。

The bears looked at their porridge,
他们看了看碗里的粥，

And Papa Bear said, " Someone has been eating my porridge."
熊爸爸说：“有人喝过了我的粥。”

Then Mama Bear said, " Someone has been eating my porridge."
熊妈妈说：“有人也喝过了我的粥。”

And Baby Bear said, " Someone has been eating my porridge too, and now it is all gone."
熊宝宝说：“有人不仅喝了我的粥，还把粥都喝光了。”

Then the bears looked at their chairs,
三只熊看了看他们的椅子。

And Papa Bear said, " Someone has been sitting in my chair."
熊爸爸说：“有人坐过了我的椅子。”

Then Mama Bear said, " Someone has been sitting in my chair."
然后熊妈妈说：“也有人坐过了我的椅子。”

And Baby Bear said, " Someone has been sitting in my chair too, and now it is broken in pieces."
熊宝宝说：“我的椅子也被人坐过了，而且还把它弄坏了！”

Then the bears looked at their beds,
三只熊看了看他们的床，

And Papa Bear said, " Someone has been sleeping in my bed."
熊爸爸说：“有人在我的床上睡过了。”

And Mama Bear said, " Someone has been sleeping in my bed."
熊妈妈也说：“有人在我的床上睡过了。”

Then Baby Bear cried out, " Someone has been sleeping in my bed too. Look, there she is now."
熊宝宝大叫道：“有人也在我的床上睡过了，快看，她就在那儿呢！”

When Goldilocks saw the three bears, she jumped out of Baby Bear's bed and ran.
她一睁眼，看到了三只熊；她一下子从熊宝宝床上跳下来，撒腿就跑。

She ran and ran as fast as she could, away from the three bears' house.
她拼命地跑啊跑，跑到离小熊家很远的地方才停下。

And the three bears never saw littleGoldilocks again.
从那以后，三只熊再也没有见过小姑娘 Goldilocks。
