for me I think the thing that really made me wanted to do this film
这是一部经典的关于狗狗与人类互相帮助的故事。
was that it was sort of that classic idea of a human and their dog and them helping each other
但是故事又是围绕着一个女生和这条狗狗之间的关系，
but it was centered around a woman as a relationship with the dog
这是我没有之前没有看到过的。
which I haven't really seen before
你知道并没有很多女生有狗狗。
you know no a lot of women who have dogs

and I just thought it was a really nice take and surprised

that it hadn't been known before

I think this story has a lot of really powerful themes here that are really important

I think love for you know your pets, your loved ones, family

And one other theme I stood up most like no matter how hard you know whatever situation you're in

我读完剧本后，我就觉得这个故事给我的感觉很好。
I think after watching this film, after I read this script I was like wow I just felt good

And I think everyone that watches this film after they watch it

they'll feel the same way I felt when I first read the script

so I think there are a lot of kind of very relatable themes in the film

you know that you you can be from any kind of place or background

I think you can still relate to the kind of need of everyone

to have unconditional love from some source in your life

and you know the unconditional love that people can get from a dog

Henry, would you say that this is a really family-friendly movie?

oh it's definitely a family-friendly

I mean it's a story for for anybody not just dog lovers

cuz there's there's it's just such an amazing story

that you could just go with your whole family

they were the main stars,they were really love stars off set

we were just,you know,kind of there

no I think the dogs were they were definitely the stars
Gary and Phil我觉得它们都做得很好
umm Gary and Phil I mean all of them did fantastic
Phil扮演的是一只大狗
but Phil played a big dog

she said who's Gary and Phil,oh sorry
我们刚刚才和狗狗近距离接触了
so we just got so close to the dogs oh yeah
我记得Phil应该是训练了八天
Phil had,I think,eight days training or something

he's a rescue dog
我觉得他在所有的狗狗里面是最棒的
and I thought he did like the best like stand out one of the best stand-up performances, he was great
和你一起工作也非常棒
working with you was great

yeah no it was I really felt in the character

and I felt I could feel the friendship

it didn't feel like forced

I was funny because I'm a musician

and in this film she was the musician

so it's uh,you know,she'd be carrying guitar everywhere,she'd been practicing in the trailer

and I would just go over her and "hey what are you doing and then"

but she did an amazing job and it was good. thank you

so did you feel extra pressure about performing next to Henry?

I was so sure they would gonna get Henry to like do some Billie end(?) or like come on

I was like usually yeah but uh so there was that pressure yes
她的表现令人赞叹
no but she she was amazing, yeah
我认为CJ应该不是一个非常成熟的歌手
and CJ I think was supposed to be not like a fully fledged singer
所以我认为她的演唱不是很完美是情有可原的
so I think it made sense that she was…yeah

that she couldn't work out that one chord

it's there's not one emotion you feel

but I think it's at the end of the film the emotion

I like the fact that I feel like the characters in the movie

even the ones who do bad things "bad things"
