London's coolest cab has been revealed - and it's helping Brits fight off the sweltering heat. The "Cool Cab" has a number of features designed to keep passengers cool, including an interior cooled by dry ice, a freezer stocked with ice lollies and a state-of-the-art air conditioning system.

A spokesperson for Andrews Air Conditioning, which commissioned the creation of the "Cool Cab", said: "For commuters there is nothing worse on a hot day than getting into a stuffy taxi, so we wanted to help combat this experience with our own 'Cool Cab'."

On Monday, the city's law enforcement departments have issued a total of 623 rectification notices for violating the regulations. Apple Inc will launch a new iPhone tailored for Chinese consumers, media reports said on Monday. The new phone will remove Face ID, the facial recognition system for the iPhone, and instead employ an under-display fingerprint function, news site caijing.com.cn reported, citing sources on the upstream industry supply chain.

An industry insider revealed that this is likely to "save on costs." Apple has lost many Chinese users who prefer smartphones priced at around 5,000 yuan, indicated by an increase in purchases of local brands including Huawei, OPPO and Vivo. Apple has attached great importance to the Chinese market but has been under continuous cost pressure amid the China-US trade war, industry insiders said.
