Tom's reason for not coming to the dinner party.
A month ago, Mary Alice told the girls she wanted throw a dinner party because they were living in the street for a long time but they were never done a big group thing. She was waiting to have everyone over for years so she was so excited about it.But what a tragedy, she suicided,the hostess died.Susan remembered this event from the newspaper as she scanned the front page. so her friends gathered to talk about it, and susan came up with a idea that they should go through with th dinner party because it's so important to Mary Alice. After talk, susan was in charge of cooking and she would be prepare for eight people. so, the wives need to invite their husbands. Nevertheless, the husbands were all reluctant to join. For Tom, he used work as an excuse. He said he was wiped out and he haven't even had a chance to unpack yet, his head was just pounding.what funny, he said he was not ready for a dinner party and just need to chill out for a few days.It seemed like he was always reasonable that can easily persuade lynette to do as him asked.
