粗心的爷爷 A Careless Grandfather

My name is Jane. My grandfather is very careless.
我的名字是简。我的祖父很粗心。
He is a very clever man, but he never remembers little things.

April 27th was my birthday.

My grandfather said to me, "I'm going to your home, and give you a present."

I was very excited. I waited for him all day.

but he didn't come, so I phoned him and asked why.
