1. put yourself out for sb: to make a special effort to do sth for sb.
Eg: Please don't put yourself out on my account.
put sb out: to cause sb trouble, extra work, etc.
2. dress up: to wear clothes that are more formal than those you usually wear;
dress sb up: to put on special clothes, especially to pretend to be sb/sth different.
Eg: The boys were all dressed up as pirates.
3. internalize: to make a feeling, an attitude, or a belief part of the way you think and behave
