1. Those who do nothing 那些什么都不做的人

Those (people) who = They/People who 意为“凡是…的人们”。

those who 是复数句型，但我们也可用单数句型来表达相同的意思：

He/One who = Anyone who = Whoever + 单数动词。

例句：

Those who have money do not want forfriends. (凡是有钱的人都不会缺乏朋友)

= He who has money does not want forfriends.

= Whoever has money does not want forfriends. (Whoever = Anyone who)

Do you think those who work hard are sureto succeed?

2. invite

作为动词

①邀请，招待

They've invited us to stay for the weekend.

他们已邀请我们留下来度周末。

②引起，招致，吸引

You're just inviting trouble if you dothat.

3. as well as

很多人把它误以为”and”的同义词，但其实它表达的是”not only(不但) … but also(而且)”，在已知的事实外，添加更多信息的意思。

John, as well as Mary, wants to leave early.

在这个范例中，”as well as”用来表示不仅Mary，John也想要早点离开。因为”Mary”是单数名词，所以动词会是”wants”，而非”want”。

Animals, as well as plants need water tosurvive.

此范例中，”plants”则是复数名词，动词使用”need”。

He hurt his arm as well as breaking hisleg.

She draws as well as designing clothes.

这两个范例中，我们以”as well as”连接两个动作，而接在”as well as”后的动作，请改为动名词形式。切勿误用为”He hurt his arm as well as broke his leg.”，或”She drawsas well as designs clothes.”。

I have to clean the floors as well as cookfood.

此句中使用了不定词”to clean”，但接在”as well as”后的动作，请别也在前面加上”to”，而是直接使用原形动词即可。别误用为”I have to clean the floors as well as to cook food.” 。
