Comparatives (形容词的比较级)
Comparatives are used to show the differences between things.
1. Adjectives of one syllable(单音节) form a comparative by adding - er.
Strong - stronger
This CV is much stronger than the others.
2. Adjectives of two syllables ending in - y form a comparative by chaning -y into -i and adding er.
easy - easier
I think this project will be easier if we work together.
3. Other two syllables adjectives form a comparative by using more.
That presentation was even more boring than his last one!
4. Adjectives with more than two syllables form a comparative by using more.
The new system is more complicated than the old one.
