A tornado is fnunnel-shaped strong wind.

It never stops whirling and keeps sucking up dust, houses, cars, trees and everything.

It can pull up thins into the air and make them fly.

Also it moves very fast at speeds up to 483 km per hour.

It is one of the strongest kinds of storms.

There are more than 800 tornados in the United States each year.
