Planning a Trip

Situation

Ed and Amy are planning a trip to America.

   Ed: I have three weeks of vacation 

          saved up.Let's take a second

          honeymoon.

Amy: Really?How about we go to

          the States?I'd like to see Disneyland 

          and Universal Studios.

   Ed: Why not?

Amy: How about a couple of days 

          in Las Vegas,too?

   Ed:  I could go for that.We've got to go

           to the Grand Canyon,too.

Amy：And we can't miss New York City.

           I'd love  to take in a Broadway play.

    Ed: Isn't New York on the other side of

           the country？

Amy: Who cares?It's just a five -hour 

          plane ride from the West Coast.

   Ed: Well,when you put it that way,what 

          can I say but yes?

艾德：这提议不错。还有大峡谷我们

           也一定要去。

艾米：还有我们可不能错过纽约市，

           我想看百老汇的表演。

艾德：纽约市不是在美国的另一岸吗？

艾米：有什么关系？从西岸坐飞机只

           要五个钟头。

艾德：好吧，既然你都这样说了，我除

           了说好之外还能讲什么呢？
