桑德拉·希斯内罗丝（Sandra Cisneros），1954年出生于芝加哥，母亲是墨西哥裔美国人，父亲是墨西哥人。1984年出版的长篇小说《芒果街上的小屋》荣获1985年的美国图书奖，是第一部深受学术界好评且创造了商业神话的西语裔小说。
作品有：短篇小说集《女喊溪的故事及其它》（1991年）、长篇小说《拉拉的褐色披肩》（2002年）等。桑德拉·希斯内罗丝成为美国西语裔文学的代表人物之一。
