我好奇是不是因为我这么长时间都没有能够外出以至于我变得对任何和自然有关的事情都疯狂起来。我清楚得记得曾经有一段时间，连蔚蓝的天空，飞鸟的鸣叫，柔和的月光和娇美的花朵也不能使我着迷。但是当我来到这里，一切都变了……例如，在一个温暖的夜里，我故意保持清醒一直到11点半，只为了能亲眼看一看那皎洁的月亮。但是当月亮放出远比我想象中还强烈得多的光芒时，我甚至不敢打开窗户。又比如在五个月前，我恰巧在一个黄昏的时刻在窗户敞开着的楼上。我是直到窗户不得不被关上的时候才下楼的。那个昏暗潮湿的夜晚，狂风和乌云将我完完全全的控制住。这是这一年半来我第一次面对面地观看一个夜晚……但令人伤心的是，我仅仅可以从那张悬挂着的肮脏的窗帘透过满是灰尘的窗户看一看大自然。再透过他们来看一点儿也不令人愉悦，因为自然是我们必须亲身经历的事物。
