industry 是可数名词还是不可数名词请帮忙

industry可以当可数名词，也可以当不可数名词。
1、不可数名词。
“工业、生产制造”
如：heavy/light industry重/轻工业
2、可数名词
“行业”
如：the steel industry钢铁业
3、正式语中industry还有“勤奋、勤劳”的意思，当不可数名词讲。
