雅思作文：Some people who have been in prison become good citizens later. Some people think that they are the best people to talk to school students the danger of committing a crime. Do you agree or disagree?

Life in prison is not easy, nor is life out of prison.

Ex-convicts often get stigmatized in the society. They are often denied job opportunities because of their criminal record. What’s more, Prison sentences are directly proportional to the severity of the crime. People who are sentenced for very serious crimes get locked up for too long that they lose touch with life outside of jail. It was covered in news that an inmate who was completely removed from society for 30 years got so confused about the modern world after his recent release. He does not know how to use modern technology like new phones, phone softwares and computers. Even though they are good citizens now, they have already lost out on life. And this is a lesson best told by themselves to the students.
