I Don't Want To Go To Bed 我不想睡觉

"Why do I have to go to bed when I'm not tired, 

“为什么当我不困的时候必须睡觉，

and get up when I am?" said the Little Princess.

我很困的时候又非要我起床呢？”小公主说。

"I don't WANT to go to bed!" she said.

“我真的不想睡觉！”她说。

"Bed is good for you," said the Doctor,

“躺在床上对你有好处，”医生说道，

taking her upstairs."Sleep is even better."

然后带着她上楼了。“睡觉对你就更好了。”

But the Little Princess came straight down again.

可是小公主马上就从楼上下来了。

"I DON'T WANT TO GO TO BED!" she said.

“我就是不想睡觉！”她说。

"I WANT A GLASS OF WATER!"

“我想喝水！”

"There you are," said the Queen.

“给你，”王后说。

"Sleepy,sleepy tighty."

“睡吧，好梦。”

"DAAAAAD!"

“爸爸！”

"You don't want another glass of water?" said the King.

“你是不是想再喝一杯水？”国王说。

"No," said the Little Princess."Gilbert does."

“不要，”小公主说。“吉伯特要。”

"Nighty,nighty," said the King. 

“睡吧，晚安，”国王说。

"Sleepy tighty, Gilbert."

“晚安，吉伯特。”

"Don't go!" said the Little Princess. 

“别走！”小公主说。

"There's a monster in the wardrobe."

“衣柜里有怪兽。”

"There's no such thing as monsters,

“世界上没有怪兽，

and there are none in the wardrobe,"

衣柜里也没有，”

said the King, closing the bedroom door.

国王一边说着，一边关上卧室门。

"Dad!" shouted the Little Princess.

“爸爸！”小公主喊道。

"What is it now?" said the King.

“又怎么了？”国王说。

"You're not still frightened of monsters?"

“你该不会还是在怕怪兽吧？”

"Of course I'm not," said the Little Princess.

“我当然不怕，”小公主说。

"Gilbert is. He says there's one under the bed."

“吉伯特怕，他说床下面就有一只怪兽。”

"No there isn't," said the King, creeping out of the bedroom.

“那儿没有怪兽，”国王说，他悄悄溜出卧室。

"There are no such things."

“世界上没有怪兽。”

"Stop her!" shouted the Queen."She's escaped."

“拦住她！”王后大叫。“她要逃走。”

"I DON'T WANT TO GO TO BED!" said the Little Princess.

“我说了我不想睡觉！”小公主说。

"Why?" said the Queen.

“为什么呀？”王后说。

"There's a spider over my bed ...and it's got hairy legs."

“有只蜘蛛在我头顶的天花板上 ...它有毛绒绒的腿。”

"Daddy's got hairy legs, and he's nice," said the Queen.

“爸爸也有毛绒绒的腿啊，他可是很好的啊，”女王说。

At last the Little Princess went to bed.

最后小公主终于同意上床睡觉。

Later, when the King went in to kiss her goodnight,

过了一会儿，当国王想去给小公主晚安吻的时候，

her bed was empty.

却发现她的床上没人。

Everybody hunted high ...

所有人都出动了，他们从高处...

...and low, until ...

...找到低处，直到 ...

"Here she is," said the Maid.

“她在这里，”女仆说。

"She's keeping Gilbert and the cat safe from spiders and monsters."

“她让吉伯特和猫咪远离了蜘蛛和怪物。”

The next morning,

第二天早晨，

the Little Princess got up and yawned a yawn.

小公主起床了，她一个哈欠连天的。

"I'm tired," she said ...

“我好困啊，”她说 ...

...I want to go to bed."

“...我想睡觉。”
