Some people like to plan out every little part of their posts. VCG
Why do some people carefully plan out their Moments?
你怎样看待“预制朋友圈”?
Q:
I’ve noticed that some people plan their WeChat Moments ahead of time (提前). They make these posts look perfect, like a special version (版本) of life. What do you think about this? When you post on social media, do you like to do it right away or plan it out?

A:
Many social media posts are planned to look perfect, even if they’re not real. While these posts can inspire creativity (鼓励创造性), they also pressure people to look good. It makes you wonder: How much of what we see online is real? People often feel they must meet the high standards (标准) set by popular influencers. This creates a quiet competition to show the best side of ourselves. I like sharing real moments in thoughtful posts, showing who I am without needing to be perfect.

Most people want to feel appreciated (欣赏) by their parents, friends or others. With social media and editing tools (编辑工具), it’s easy to make pictures look just how you want. Lately, I’ve seen some people go too far. They use social media to make a false (虚假的) image. I think they “pretend (假装)” more than they really “live”. I like to keep things simple and not worry too much about my posts. I take photos as they are and only make small changes. This saves me time and helps me be true to myself. When I’m honest, I feel happier and make better friendships.

Many people post their best and prettiest pictures on social media. This is because people like looking at nice images, but it is misleading (误导的) and doesn’t always show the truth. I post a lot, but sometimes my photos aren’t perfect. For fun times with friends, I might not have great photos. But for special days, like birthdays or graduations (毕业), I choose better pictures or take new ones. To me, social media is a fun way to share my life with friends far away. When used well, it helps keep memories while reminding us that not everything online is real.

It’s common for people to make their social media pages look nice. I don’t think this is bad – it just shows how technology has changed how we show ourselves. Social media is not only for connecting with friends and family; it’s also a way to share what’s happening in our lives. Some even change their lifestyles to get more viewers or sell things. On my art page, I plan how it looks to make everything pretty. But my private page for close friends is more relaxed. Wanting to create a nice look for yourself on social media isn’t a bad thing.
