Our Visit to a Village-1
During our school break, my cousin and I went to Upper Canada Village with my parents.
People in this village wear 19th century clothing and everything runs the same way it did one hundred years ago.
"This is amazing," said my cousin. “It's living history!” First, we went to the flour mill. It still works, just like it did long ago. At one end of the mill, people load in the

worker told us that this flour mill was a busy place back in 1821.
At that time, wheat was Canada's main agricultural crop. Turning wheat into flour was in high demand.
Samuel Bellamy built the mill. He received grain from his farmer neighbours. His mill transformed the grain into flour. He wasn't paid with money. Instead, he kept one twelfth of the wheat he ground.
My cousin exclaimed, “I really like the way people traded at that time.”“Me too!” I replied.
