A Dinosaur in Your Lunchbox!
ur teacher told us about a dinosaur called the T-Rex. It was 12 metres long and 6 metres tall. It weighed 7 tons and had teeth that were 30 centimetres long!
Its full name was actually Tyrannosaurus Rex, You say it like this: Tai Ran-O-Sore-Us-Wrecks. It means: king of the lizards.
It was the biggest meat eater ever to live on earth. There were bigger dinosaurs, but they ate only trees, leaves and grass.
“Believe it or not,” our teacher said.“One
creature that still exists today is related to the T-Rex. Can you guess what it is?”
Some kids guessed the lion, the bear or even the crocodile.
“No, but I have this creature in my lunchbox!” Then, she pulled something out and took a big bite of it. “Mmmm, I love chicken legs!” she said.
We were amazed!
