Things are finally getting moving on the anticipated Harry Potter TV series, which will be developed over 10 years across seven seasons. The series is slated to premiere in 2026.

Casting has yet to be announced and it will be entirely new from the popular films. Channing Dungey, chairperson of Warner Bros. Television, said that "the tricky part is the first two books, where the kids are on the younger end."
